Applicant does not require a visa for traveling to Chile. They should visit the consulate's website to obtain more information on visa requirements.
A valid passport is required for travel
- Your passport must be in good condition.
- It cannot be expiring 6 months beyond your intended stay in the country.
- You are required to have at least two blank visa pages left in your passport (The last two pages in your passport are not visa pages, and do not count).
Traveling to Chile (Important Information)
U.S. citizens may enter Chile as a tourist or for business without a visa and may stay up to 90 days in Chile. Upon arrival, you will receive a Tourist Card for up to 90 days, which you can extend for another 90-day period at the Chilean Immigration Office and which you must return upon departure. Failure to return this card may delay your departure from Chile.
